Hitpoints are back to the static Body+Soulx5 calculation. Locational damage was a cool concept, but it was winding up with fights being way too easy to end instantly. Defenses have been revised slightly so that they are now functioning as they should be. The original defensive requirements are in place, though dodging and parrying still cost stamina. You can get away with defending yourself more easily by explaining in post why the defense was easier to perform. Conversely, you can make your attacks harder to defend against by explaining why it is the case. Reasons like "it was easy to defend because I'm a good mage" are not permissible.
